A post a year! That's my goal!
lol, reading that last post brought back a memory or two.

Ok, so since the last post I had worked 3 months for the metro, went home for christmas, went to china, broke up with jojo, failed to find a job, left china, march, applied for a PGCE, failed, august, applied for CELTA, september, succeeded(yay), passed my driving test, failed a few interviews, been studying for a month, moving to nottingham.

Note: the lack of capitalisation and short sentences was on purpose to make it look/sound like a monotonous list of things.

ok now you're updated.
see you next year! arriverderci

Those who know me best will have easily spotted that in the previous post, the 3rd sentence onwards, was not written by me but by Jojo.

I perhaps shouldn't write when my writing my be affected by an emotional bias, but this is actually the time when I feel like writing the most.

Jojo
What can I say? Lively, confident, cool and cute. Someone who matched my outlook on life: carefree, relaxed, almost childish. Open minded, intelligent, observant and humble. What can I say? i don't know.

ten fifty one, Tuesday the fifth of August two thousand and eight AD

I'm sitting here, next to Jojo writing my blog, though have little by way of inspiration. so it's stream of consciousness then..(as helen calls it) i just heard my phone recieve a text message, but I only just heard it, it didn't actually make any sound. Sadly i can't type fast enough to keep up with everything in my head and so my writing will either be incoherent or misrepresentative of my thoughs. perhaps one could design a faster way of language input into computers.Yeah, there might be one.^_^as I think, my thoughts can be put directly onto the screen. But that sounds scary though, Coz one has to expose the entire thoughts to the outside world, which might belong to his or her inner-self.....Anyway, the world then would be an absolutely honest one. Is this a big disaster for mankind or another good news in modern society.^-^?

You know what I am thinking? I am thinking what I am doing at the moment. I guess I am lying on bed trying to fall asleep. (sorry, brb, answer a phonecall) Ok, I'm back now....This time, I heard the sound very clearly. Maybe cos it's midnight(exactly 24:00). Maybe cos I'm alone now. Maybe...........OK, sorry. Maybe I shouldn't say "maybe". I don't know.....Ok, I won't say it anyway. "Maybe, perhaps, seems, probably,likely......." get rid of those words from my dictionary..hey,remind me,anyone who saw my blog.....if you see this by chance, then then give me a hug whenever u meet me.

I talked to jojo who sat next to me just now. Guess what, I am wondering what I am doing on the other side of the phone. Sometimes, curiosity kills a cat. I know it, but since I am not a cat, so I take it as "nothing to do with me". If the phrase becomes curiosity kills a kid then I may feel a little bit worried cos I have always considered myself as a kid. It seems that by emphasizing myself as a kid, I could forget that sometimes I might not be. there are different interpretations of kid. such as Curious, pure, simple, cute, lovely, honest, lily-white, romantic, happy, passionate, irresponsibility, capricious, impulsive, self-partial, unruly, willful, naive, unlicked, untotored, babyish.......................................
I am going to take away the first ten^_^.:P.:) As for the latter ten, I hope that is not the image of my advocacy of being a kid. Now you know, I m a good kid.

If you look from the heaven, you would feel funny. people are boring. They are busy doing

A place to call home

It seems I've decided to stay in Bristol for the time being. Since I'm so lazy, an email I wrote recently will adequately update you on my recent past activities...

"
Dear Catherine,

I saw your ad and am interested in a room.

My name is Kevin Yau I finished a masters in mathematics at Bristol
last year and I have been working/volunteering at the Bristol
international student centre(BISC) this past academic year and am now
currently in search of a new place to live. I saw your ad up in our
centre and thought I'd contact you. I've learnt that we have a few
acquaintances. I know Ann whom I believe is one of your students. And
I am also friends with 3 girls who were also interested in renting the
property namely Julia, Alice and Jojo who heard about it through one
of your colleagues whom I believe I have also met(though her name
escapes me).
I have Chinese origins (My parents are from Hong Kong), though I was
born and raised in the U.K. (a BBC).

Anyway, I am looking for a place from the beginning of July(my current
tenancy runs out on the 5th) and I am thinking about staying in
Bristol at least for the summer probably longer.
Do you have any rooms available immediately?

Thank you for your time
I look forward to hearing from you soon

-Kevin
