The Meaning of Life
neh neh i'm not telling you....
but seriously, i have felt something which i feel worthy and is very fitting and appropriate to be be called the meaning of life. I cannot tell you it because it is not something which you can just tell people. Just like when some people make a joke/comment in a highly specialised field, if i say it, it won't mean anything, such as "let epsilon be less than zero" or "he hooked from fifteen hundred foot on a vx39" these statement fail to make any impact on you, and you don't understand the true meaning and significance. As with these statements you can only really understand them if you are proficient in the areas of mathematics and skydiving, The meaning of life is something you can only understand if you are a Christian. It's certainly not a big secret, infact it's said all the time, but truely understanding it is the difference.
So what does knowing the meaning of life give you?
It will give you happiness and contentment in whatever situation you're in. Nothing can make you sad while you're thinking this thought. But it is very easy to forget, and it is difficult to just think it whenever you want.
Also i think, with this thought/state of mind, a side effect is that you become 'pure and blameless' so to speak, you don't get any sinful intentions or thoughts. You may still sin, but not on purpose.
It is so wonderful, the meaning of life. If i can feel this here on earth, then i wonder what heaven will be like, it must be awesome. Maybe this is a glimpse of what heaven will be like.
I guess The meaning of life has alot to do with faith and hope,
The 'meaning of life' together with love, I think are the two greatest feelings one can have but are certainly not the same. I think love gives a much stronger happiness but can also cause great sadness and pain, whereas TMOL will only give you happiness.
(if you're curious, epsilon is commonly used as a variable strictly greater than zero and so the statement is unusual, and the other comment about skydiving, it is a very impressive feat, a vx39 is the smallest parachute which has ever been flown and landed)
